    NEW DELHI: Aged finance minister PChidambaramTuesday sought bail from the Supreme Court docket in the INX Media corruption case asserting the CBI desires to retain him in custody to humiliate him.
    Senior advocateKapil Sibaland Abhishek Manu Singhvi, showing for Chidambaram instructed the bench headed by Justice R Banumathi that there had been no allegations referring to the worn finance minister or his family contributors having ever tried to manner or have an effect on any investigate cross-sign in the case.
    The lawyers instructed the apex court docket that there are no longer any allegations of financial loss or siphoning of funds.
