    Political events and candidates cannot reveal photography of any defence personnel or choices of the defence forces in their poll ads for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Election Commission talked about on Saturday, reiterating its instructions issued in 2013 in opposition to such propaganda.

    “The ministry of defence has dropped at the consciousness of the Election Commission (EC) that photography of the defence personnel are getting utilized by political events, their leaders and candidates in ads as fraction of their election propaganda,” the EC talked about in a press free up.

    Recalling its instructions issued on December 4, 2013, which restrained the events from making any reference to the defense power in their ads, propaganda and campaigning, it talked about, “The photography of Chief of Military Workers or every other defence personnel, and photography of choices of defence forces ought to soundless now not be associated with or utilized in any manner in commercial/propaganda/campaigning or in every other manner in connection with elections by political events and candidates.”
